Tips for Master Teachers/Reading Coaches

I don't have very many. LOL. If you have some for me, I'd love to hear them! ;)

I can tell you that I learned that my first year out of the classroom as a reading coach felt like my first year teaching - lost and confused, so if it's your first year, never fear - it gets better!

For the master teachers out there:

Part of my last course for my doctorate required me to make a workbook of sorts to go with the topic of my dissertation. I wrote my dissertation on the TAP process and the master teacher's role in the process. What I made for my "capstone" project was a guide for master teachers to introduce their staff to TAP. It can also be used as a review or for new teachers in a setting already implementing TAP.  It does NOT cover the rubric, but rather the part of TAP that's often left out - the 4 domains.
