Rubric 4.0

The "SOUTH CAROLINA TEACHING STANDARDS" Rubric that was revamped for ADEPT is what we are referring to when we state "4.0 Rubric". We call it that because we are moving from the 5 point TAP rubric to the 4 point "Expanded ADEPT" rubric for teacher observations. Every teacher will be observed using this rubric this school year. Those observing have been through training and have taken an examination on scoring teaching using the rubric.

McCormick teachers were trained on this rubric during the 2016-2017 school year. If you are new to McCormick and did not receive the training through your previous school district, you will receive the training either through your induction classes or from your instructional coaches throughout the school year.
